WebGL & ThreeJS and What is CSS for?

Harbour Front #7

Our 7th event will be held just around Typhoon season it seems and hopefully possible days off won't be on this day ;) This time we'll have another double line up again, featuring two speakers, namely Adam Morse and Edan Kwan.

What is CSS for?

This talk will explore a simple question: 'What is CSS for?' It will examine the ways in which CSS can make a website better and the various ways it can make a website worse. By highlighting some core tenants of how HTML works, we'll explore some ways we can design with CSS to enhance a user's experience on the web.

Adam Morse is a designer trying to leave the internet a little better than he found it. Can usually be found advocating for users or playing with cats.

WebGL & ThreeJS

Edan Kwan will show an overview of advanced frontend/creative development. In this session, he will explain more about tween engine easing and he will round up with some live coding with GLSL (Using THREE.JS and/or PIXI.JS).

Edan Kwan is a freelance developer from Hong Kong, currently based in the UK. He creates interactive experiences for brands including Pepsi, Chanel, Omega, Swatch, Ubisoft, Adobe, Logitech, etc.
