Harbour Front Monthly is a new event series that will cover a variety of topics around all things mobile & responsive web design & development, discussing the latest technologies, new ideas and best practices in web design.
The event format will consist of 1 or 2 presentations of approx. 30 minutes each, followed by a short Q&A and networking drinks to mingle with your industry peers afterwards.

Bart is a software developer building web, apps, and cloud. Covering application logic, interface, architecture, and IT infrastructure from front end to back end, ensuring that end-users and customers achieve their goals through software. In the process he wears several hats; Developer, System Architect, DevOp, and IT Administrator.
In recent years he has built a hybrid mobile app, Surround App, allowing foreigners to engage on Chinese social media. A Chinese slang database, SlangPros, and a cloud back end to support the two. He recently joined Quantifeed to work on their wealth investment web app.
Currently, Bart is working in his spare time on a new startup; Flippercast, a new JavaScript based open source content management system, incorporating best practices he learned over the years.

Holger is a web design consultant and advises on strategy as well as design, and develops responsive and mobile websites with a focus on performance.
He also founded and runs the Open Device Lab HK, works as a part-time lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's school of design and mentors for startups as well as speaks at international conferences on the topics of web design.
